| The house offers 2 double
bedrooms, both of which have an en-suite shower room. They also
have colour televisions with remotes,
welcome trays with home made biscuits daily and a small refrigerator
for fresh milk. There are also 2 comfortable chairs for relaxing
with the plentiful supply of books and magazines. Enjoy a complimentary
sherry at the same time.
Breakfast is served in a
stylish dining room. Where possible, all food is locally sourced
and cooked
to order. Meat is purchased
from Carter’s in Bamburgh and fish from Swallow’s in
Seahouses. Here you will find the only remaining smokehouse in
the village, reputed to have been the building where kippers were ‘invented’.
Preserves are made locally.
